Best Credit Cards Comparison
Finding the Best Credit Cards Is Easy and Fast
Finding the best credit cards is surprisingly very fast and easy. This is a welcome change from the way things used to be. One online tool can compare all of the best credit cards for you in a matter of a minute or so. Even better, these best credit cards are personalized based upon your needs and spending habits, etc.
It wasn’t really that long ago when you would have to visit the local banks in your area to get brochures, or even worse, set up an appointment with some financial advisor or such and have to sit there for an hour listening to a sales pitch. The details were as hard to extract as an elephant’s abscessed molar. Gladly, finding the best credit cards is now very simple, effective, and comprehensive.
Cash Back Rewards, Please
I like cash back rewards. I do not like anything related to points rewards (see my rant about Air Miles). I can always use cash wherever I want and the value of my dollars versus points is not just dramatically and arbitrarily devalued at the whim of a greedy corporate executive. Cash has a value that is far more useful and meaningful that any number of hyperinflated ‘points’ that you could offer me. Cash rewards only, please, for this frugal-minded froogalist.
No Annual Fees, Please
I refuse to give a serious look at any credit card that charges me an annual fee. Perhaps I am being a bit stubbornly frugal here, but I just really can’t justify paying an annual fee when there are so many excellent no-fee credit cards available. The best credit cards do not always always come with an annual charge.
The Search For The Best Credit Cards
I tied up my hiking boots and checked to make sure I had a few days worth of food and water in my backpack in preparation for my journey to the local banks in search of the best credit cards. This was going to be a tedious and time-consuming task. I reminded myself about the perseverance demonstrated by Buddhist monks in their lifelong quest for truth and this helped to put things into a more useful perspective.
Sure I would have to line up for hours, sure I would have to book appointments and endure the small talk of numerous bank representatives, sure I would be frustrated by the need to make sense of the brochures that I had been given, but it would be all worth it I told myself. I would find out about the best credit cards and get myself one that offered the best cash back rewards. In a very real sense, I would be rewarded for my efforts.
I opened the front door and stepped out onto my porch, a land of cash rewards stood before me. “Check the internet, dad”, my three year old daughter stated simply. Astounded by the beautiful simplicity of my clever little daughter’s statement, I froze for a moment, humbled. I exhaled slowly and thanked my daughter before making my way to the computer.
