Best Web Hosting Service
Which web hosting service should you choose? There is one that stands out to me as a Best Buy for service, speed, features, and price. Read on.
I registered with webhostinghub.com about two years ago (just before I brought froogalism.com online). This was my first web hosting service provider and I really didn’t know what to expect from one. I had heard (and googled) many scary stories of web hosting services that were always down and/or that produced corrupted data, non-existent customer support, etc. etc. The list of horrors went on and on. I was fearful about moving into the web hosting service world.
Froogalism.com has been my first venture into blogging. I really don’t know very much at all about coding, programming, WordPressing, or any of the other complicated technical stuff that is related to maintaining a blog (website). My focus has always been on content. I am learning more and more each day, but it seems that being blog literate really is a full-time job. I admire people who DO make this their full-time passion, but I simply am not skilled enough to do it myself. With that being said, I am writing about a best web hosting service from the perspective of a total amateur. Here are some thing I like about Webhostinghub.com:
I recently tried installing a new WordPress theme at Froogalism.com (the EVolVe WordPress theme). It looked great and I wanted to preview it with my content. I downloaded it and then activated it (without, very foolishly, not making a backup first – I have learned my lesson). It denied me access to my WordPress Dashboard (the gateway to all things WordPress); I was horrified! I quickly made a full backup of my files on webhostinghub.com.
A preliminary google search revealed that I was not the only person who had experienced this after downloading the EVolVe WordPress theme. The common thread was that many people were upset and that there did not appear to be any easy solution. I actually began to panic – almost two years of work gone! I contacted the webshostinghub.com 24/7 technical support and had a webchat with Jonathan P. He was able to reassure me that all would be well and redirected me. My subsequent conversation also worked to ease my anxiety. After explaining that I did have a full backup, I was told that it would be sent for approval.
Within two or three hours, my website was restored. I simply had to delete the EVolVe WordPress theme and reinstall my Pressplay WordPress theme to get things back to where they were. You can not imagine my relief, unless you have been in a similar situation. In any case, webhostinghub.com pulled it off. This may me commonplace amongst web hosting services (I’m not sure, as webhostinghub.com is the only web hosting service that I have used), but I was very impressed with the professionalism and speed with which which webhostinghub.com handled this for me.
I also feel that I need to add that, I was treated with respect (despite my lack of knowledge and in-spite of my layman’s language) throughout each and every one of my interactions. I was never made to feel stupid, and each person that I dealt with dealt with me respectfully at my level of understanding. This is a rare thing in my experience, and I feel that companies like this should be acknowledged and praised.
There are so many features available through webhostinghub.com that I am embarrassed to say that I don’t really understand the full power of the tools that are made available to me.
I mostly use WordPress, BackUp Wizard, Photo Gallery, Email Accounts, and IP Deny Manager (to try to limit spam). There are also a myriad of other options available to webhostinghub.com clients: Accept PayPal Payments, Accept Credit Cards Online, Internet Fax Service, Apache Handlers, FrontPage Extensions, SQL Databases, etc., etc. I am not even really sure what some of these option even do. In short, I have only begun to realize the full potential of the services and options which are made available to webhostinghub.com clients. Maybe someone can enlighten me? Just post a comment below or contact me if you can help (me and our readers).
My website has never been down (to my knowledge). It also has a very fast access speed. I have never had lost or corrupted data. Personal real-time service is always available to me 24/7.
The current price is $4.95 per month for unlimited band width and disk space. What’s that?, about $60.00 per year? There may or may not be other web hosting services that offer a price that is more or less, but I am sold on webhostinghub.com because of all of the reason mentioned above.
Their reliable and fast web hosting service, combined with their excellent service and features makes webhostinghub.com a no-brainer to me. An EXCELLENT Best Buy according to Froogalism.com standards. Five out of Five Stars. JOIN Webhostinghub.com by CLICKING THE BANNER Below!
Excellent service, features, reliability, and price. What more could you ask for in a Web Hosting Service? A Best Buy.
Reading is fun. Teaching reading skills to a preschooler is also fun – especially with Dr. Seuss. Hop on Pop is a terrific teacher-recommended learning tool by Dr. Seuss. As the proud and engaged father of a two-and-a-half year old, I have noticed that certain books really appeal to my daughter. I should also note that I am also a teacher and that reading is a core of each and every… Continue reading ...
What’s the point of saving money? The whole point of getting more for less, from a froogalist perspective, is so that you have more for the things that matter to you. Continue reading ...
A froogalist has priorities. Saving money on some stuff enables me to focus on spending on the things that really matter to me the most; namely, my daughter, my family and friends, and my hobbies and interests. I don’t do without like a miserly Scrooge shivering in the dark of winter eating a cold can of beans with my fingers. A froogalist has purpose – focusing my energy and limited… Continue reading ...
