The Swiffer broom is a pretty clever invention. Its swivel head allows you to use it in tough-to-reach-places like ceilings, walls, under furniture, your itchy back, etc. A disposable Swiffer dusting cloth fits on the mop head. The only problem with these replacement cloths is that they are expensive.
Looking for a frugal alternative? If so, use a cheap washcloth on the end of your Swiffer broom. The cheap washcloths are best because they are less plush as a result of having a lower pile. You can also rinse them out as you are working (unlike the Swiffer brand cloths), and wash them in the washing machine when you’re done so that they can be reused many, many times. Thanks again for the thrifty idea, mom.
